REELise FILM FESTIVAL

The REELise Film Festival is designed to give young people an opportunity to share their stories about navigating digital life to entertain, educate and inspire positive change online.  National finalists feature online and screen in VMAX at Event Cinemas.  You can be part of a fun youth oriented event and win great prizes including cash, filmmaking equipment and industry experiences.

The 2023 Competition theme is “FOOTPRINT”.

Entry is FREE and open to young people 10-18 years in each State and Territory of Australia.

You must submit an Entry Form and your film must meet the REELise Entry Guidelines. Key requirements are that your film is shot on a mobile phone or iPad, is 5 minutes or less (including credits)  and addresses the competition theme.

In 2023 Prize categories are:

• Best Film – Junior (10-12 years)
• Best Film – Intermediate (13-15 years)
• Best Film – Senior (16-18 years)

• Spirit of REELise 
• People’s Choice
• RBC Touch of Pink – the film best exploring a theme of bullying, discrimination, homophobia or transphobia.

All entrants receive a certificate of achievement.
